An Oley member's search for an infusion-friendly backpack led her to the
Speed Lite 20, manufactured by Deuter. She describes the benefits and her
experience in her blog "Living with
Gastroparesis" which offers advice and experience on gastroparesis and its
corresponding treatments (feeding tubes, TPN, pacers, etc.,) from a patient's
perspective.
When we asked for permission to share this information with the Oley membership
she enthusiastically mentioned that, "I love my backpack so much that I actually
switched my 20-hour cycle to include mostly daytime hours, just so that I could
wear it around."
She also writes that, the backpack comes in smaller sizes, "but I have not
personally been able to get my hands on them. I cannot certify whether or not
they have all the features the biggest one has."
