Jim Lacy, RN, has more than 25 years’ experience in nursing, education, training, program development and the medical device industry. He has most recently been self-employed as a consultant to medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries. In that role, he is involved in clinical marketing, marketing research, new device development, and creation of regulatory documents. In addition, he continues to develop and provide clinical programs for health care professionals pertaining to vascular access devices, infusion therapy, and critical care nursing.

Jim has served as a volunteer and board member for community-based and national organizations, including the Association for Vascular Access, Infusion Nurses Society, and the Oley Foundation

Jim lives near Salt Lake City, Utah and is an avid scuba diver. With his new role at Genentech as part of the Pilot Project, he hopes to contribute his experience, learn from his fellow CNTs, as well as become a liaison and advocate to health care professionals and organizations.
