Kyle R. Noble Memorial Scholarship (Deadline extended May 2, 2011)
To further the educational goals of individuals relying on HPN or HEN for their primary nutritional needs.
Number of Awards, Amount and Duration: One award of $2,000 per academic year. Applicants must reapply each year.
Who Qualifies: Any high school graduate dependent upon HPN and/or HEN for their primary nutritional needs.
Selection Factor Guidelines:
1. A one to three page personal essay describing how applicant has:

overcome obstacles/challenges posed by HPN and/or HEN.

inspired others to live life to the fullest.
2. Medical Reference - from a member of applicant’s health care team (physician, nurse, dietitian) outlining the individual’s circumstances surrounding HPEN.
3. Education Reference – from an advisor, teacher, etc. supporting the applicant’s pursuit of educational goals.
Selection Process: Scholarship Committee will review all applications and select three finalists. Scholarship Committee will conduct telephone interview of final candidates. Award recipient will be declared at the Oley Annual Conference.
Timing of Award Presentation: The scholarship will be distributed at the end of the school year after a copy of the recipient’s transcript has been submitted to the Oley Foundation. The 2011 award recipient will be announced at the Oley Annual Conference.
